Bachelor of Arts program in Business and Management

 

The program 

The program is aimed at students who, following their studies, wish to achieve a career in international business life. In addition to the standard business studies the curriculum also embraces a wide range of economics and social science subjects.

Upon successfully completing the program, students are awarded a Bachelor’s Degree. The wide range of knowledge acquired during the years of study enables students, equipped with the skills and competence required in our rapidly changing world, to find suitable work in a great number of institutions and enterprises. In addition, as they will be learning in a truly international environment, graduates will have acquired the multicultural skills required in today’s professional world.

Apart from providing a variety of job opportunities, the Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Management also entitles students to pursue further studies at graduate level. All those who wish to return to the classroom after working for some years can be sure that the skills they have obtained at the Corvinus University of Budapest provide an adequate basis for further studies.

The program is taught fully in English.

Who can enter the program?

The program is open to everyone who fulfills the entrance requirements (appropriate level of knowledge of Mathematics, a valid, at least middle level English language proficiency result (in one of the English language proficiency exams officially recognized in Hungary).

The curriculum

The first half of the studies provide students with a curriculum of basic economics, business and introductory methodological subjects. Along with the common core courses students are given the opportunity - through the choice of elective subjects - to get acquainted with certain aspects of culture, art, history and social sciences within the framework of elective courses.

In the course of studies, students will have to complete the following core and specialization courses which will be supplemented by a wide range of elective courses in business, IT, social sciences:
